Join us for a very special Mountain Biking Adventure that will have you exploring both the mountains and the ocean.

Included: Three nights accommodations (choice of yurt, lodge rooms, or camping) all on a first-come basis; bike rental and all appropriate gear; trail snacks; expert instruction; guiding; 5 meals PLUS a coastal lobster feast. Also included for Saturday: ferry tickets for you and your bike; and vouchers available for lunch and parking.

The adventure begins on Thursday. Arrive anytime after 4pm. Meet the crew and other guests; get comfortable with your ccommodations; check out the trail map; and if time permits, be fitted to a bike. Friday after breakfast finish bike fittings; instruction if desired; then guided trail riding. We'll ride the trails again after a lunch break at the lodge -- or you can sit back and enjoy the mountains, grab a kayak, or a good book.

Saturday we will carpool to Portland, Maine (1 hour drive) and hop on the Casco Bay ferry with our bikes. We'll depart from Portland about 10am, cruising by some of the Calendar Islands of Casco Bay before disembarking on the more remote island of Great Chebeague.

Here we'll ride along the very quiet island roads and trails for the day and enjoy gorgeous vistas and scenic overlooks.  We'll have lunch on Chebeague and when the tide is out, we'll hike and bike over to Little Chebeague Island and explore those trails. We'll return to the wharf to meet our 4:15 ferry back to the mainland. Once back in Portland we will carpool to the famous Lobster Shack on the water in Cape Elizabeth where we will have a lobster feast with all the fixings. Afterwards we caravan back to our mountain lodge OR folks can stay and take in the picturesque Old Port area of Portland before returning.

Sunday: Back at the lodge: breakfast, morning guided rides and 1pm departures.

Package Value: $800

Due to the nature of this excursion, if you need to cancel, with adequate notice, we will roll your reservation over to the following year but we cannot offer a refund.
